Brand Partnerships Manager

We are looking to hire an energetic and driven individual to support Crusader’s Growth Team. The focus of this team is to connect Crusader’s unique and talented creators with the brands and businesses they know and love.

The Brand Partnership Manager role is directly responsible for building new brand relationships and helping clients drive business results on YouTube and Twitch.

Ideal candidates will combine an exceptional ability to provide consultative selling; a passion for growing revenue; an outstanding ability to set strategic vision; and a willingness to execute the tactics. Success in this position requires strong sales, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment. We are searching for sales professionals who have experience in Direct Response, Brand, and/or Agency sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities that best suit our content creators
  • Drive revenue for Crusader by seeking partnerships with various direct clients and agencies
  • Use a consultative approach by offering strategic media solutions to all clients
  • Create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data
  • Ensure that current and prospective clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • Manage reports/analytics data and present back to wider business on performance vs target
  • Possess an advanced and up-to-date knowledge of the influencer and entertainment management industry
  • Bring and build a strong network of industry and brand contacts
  • Knowledge and ability to assist in agreement drafting and contract negotiations

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related area of study
  • 1-2 years of marketing, brand advertising, media sales, and/or online advertising experience
  • Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, digital & mobile marketing, and the influencer industry, particularly in professional gaming content creation
  • Thorough technical understanding of influencer distribution platforms and native commerce products: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Google, and influencer marketing platforms
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Self starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to reprioritize as business needs shift
  • Willingness to work weekends/evenings to support events/campaign activations, when required (this won’t be all of the time, but may be occasionally necessary)

Talent Coordinator

We are looking to hire an energetic and driven individual to manage our Talent & Campaign Planning (TCP). This person will meet regularly with clients (creators) to identify potential partnerships and build healthy brand opportunities while working closely with internal teams in support of campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage all aspects of creator procurement and onboarding to aid in launching successful campaigns; partner with Brand Leads to understand and translate the needs, timelines, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong rapport with creators and effectively translate the value proposition of partnering with brands and their alignment with a creator’s audience
  • Expertly navigate negotiations to secure both new business opportunities and renewals with existing partners; proactively seek out opportunities to diversify and scale sponsorship activity
  • Continually iterate and improve upon internal TCP processes to establish and promote best practices both internally and externally
  • Leverage industry knowledge and team insights to offer optimizations for campaigns and increase scale and effectiveness of current creator partners
  • Assist Talent Director and talent email inbox management
  • Manage reports/analytics data and present back to wider business on performance vs target

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years of talent, sales, or related campaign management experience, preferably in online, influencer, and/or social media marketing
  • Well-versed in digital advertising and influencer marketing terminology (i.e. YouTube/Instagram/Twitch metrics and best practices)
  • Thorough technical understanding of influencer distribution platforms and native commerce products: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Google, and influencer marketing platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong communication skills and proven experience with the process of negotiation
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in time critical situations
  • Aptitude to meet deadlines and operate with a sense of urgency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to reprioritize as business needs shift
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Professional and poised under pressure with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in G-Suite programs such as Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
  • A passion for all things social media and influencer marketing (gaming is desirable)
